While doing an illustration for a children’s magazine, I got interested in exploring the idea of expressing something simply and playfully. In this series of the Panchatantra, I was inspired by The Panchatantra stories from India where despite their light and playful approach, they carry a very deep and profound meaning. I have used its meaningful stories in a simple manner by creating a playful hide and seek of the two dimensional drawings within the three dimensional forms.
